New Oman House Séance and Ghost Hunt June 19th, and June 20th

The next Oman House Séance and Ghost Hunt will be happening Friday, June 19th, and Saturday, June 20th. Click this link here for tickets.

In the last blog I talked about the infamous picture that was taken on the anniversary of the Manson murders last year at David Oman’s house on August 9th, 2014. The other interesting incident that happened that night was reported on the tabloid TV show, TMZ. According to one of the girls that were there, a fire alarm at the Oman House went off mysteriously during the séance with apparently no explanation. Check out the TMZ report here

I have no idea why the TMZ reporter would report that incident that way, because that’s not what happened. What actually set off the fire alarm was another investigator in the guest bedroom burning sage! At one point I smelled smoke, and told everyone at the table that there may very well be a fire in the house. I then noticed smoke coming from the guest bedroom door, and got up to investigate. When I opened the door, it looked like a scene from a Cheech and Chong movie; the entire room was blanketed in smoke!

Thankfully, the entire séance was streamed live by ParanormalZoneTV. You can watch everything from the infamous photograph unfold, to the (not so) mysterious smoke alarm incident happen! I’ve also broken down key points in the video if you want to skip to those incidents.

At 20 minutes, the smoke alarm incident happens! (You can see me seated in the upper right hand corner)

At 21:11, I say I smell something

At 21:28, I discover the cause of the mysterious smoke alarm incident!

At 22:32, the “infamous” photo is taken

Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks: The David Oman House

On August 08, 2014 I attended a ghost hunt at the David Oman house for the second night in a row. During a séance, a photo was taken of an interesting phenomenon. So interesting in fact, that Dr. Barry Taff labeled it, “one of the most significant pictures ever taken in the history of parapsychology,” The photo will also be part of the “Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks episode of the David Oman House, which is set to air March 28, 2015 on the Travel Channel

Since that addendum to Dr. Taff’s Oman House article was added, people who weren’t even there that night have been writing themselves into the incident. The only person missing was the subject of the photo. This was brought up to the photographer, but what resulted were deletions and a willful (IMHO) disregard for giving any credit at all to the subject of the photo. David Oman himself, who pointed out how interesting the photo was in the first place, has been ignored as a contributor.

Thankfully, this has been rectified. Dr. Taff was contacted, and he secured permission from Scottie Megelin to use her name in identifying the person in the photograph. Scottie’s name now rightfully appears in Dr. Taff’s article.

Scottie discussed the night in question, and it’s a very eerie read.

Here are more photos from the night in question at the séance. tune in to the Travel Channel on March 28, 2015 to see the episode!

Updates and The Oman House Investigation March 13th and 14th!

We just had Hotel Camarillo‘s 5th public screening at the legendary and infamous C.I.A. Bar February 26th. There may be a couple more surprise events for Hotel Camarillo coming up in the near future.

We are also gearing up for a Queen Mary paranormal doc with Planet Paranormal’s Brian Clune and Bob Davis. And we are now in the planning stages for a paranormal doc on California’s haunted missions, with Stephen Franco and Richard Senate!

But first, time has to be made for investigating the unknown! I have a lot of supernatural events that I will be going to this month, but by far the biggest one will be the David Oman House investigations Friday, March 13th, and Saturday, March 14th.

The David Oman house, which was featured on the season 9 opening episode of Ghost Adventures, sits 150 feet away from the site of the tragic Sharon Tate murders committed by the Manson Family in 1969.

The Oman House tour includes the history of the Tate Murders and full investigation of The Oman House, a Seance, Good Food and Drink and a “I Survived The Oman House” T-Shirt. All for $99.00.
